Recently, in Huong Linh commune, Huong Hoa district, SCI Group together with the Employer and the related Companies (Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company (THIBIDI), Central Electrical Testing One Member Co., Ltd.) successfully performed energization of the 110kV transformer station of Gelex 3 wind power plant, Quang Tri province. The substation has a scale of two transformers of 63 MVA; 115/23/23KV designed and manufactured by Dong Anh MEE.
During this period, the 110 kV side uses the diagram "Two busbar system with segment and earthing reserve breaker to develop into a ring busbar in the future" including: two (02) 110kV feeders transmission line to Lao Bao 220kV substation; 02 general transformer feeders; 01 feeder for connection line with Huong Linh 7 Wind power project and Huong Linh 8 Wind power project. The 22kV distribution system of the station is designed with the 03 independent busbar diagram for 03 factories (Each plant connects to one 22kV separate busbar).
Every 63 MVA transformer is the most important Equipment of the project acting as the "heart" of performing the task of increasing - decreasing the voltage to ensuring the suitability of the electricity consumption needed in the area.
This is an important transmission works for the cluster project of Gelex 1, Gelex 2 and Gelex 3 wind power projects with a designed capacity of 90MW and Huong Linh 7 Power Plant (30 MW), Huong Linh 8 Power Plant (25.2 MW) in combination with the 9.86km of 110kV dual-circuit lines and the power network together with the public transport to serve the project and the local residents.
Experiencing a time of expediting the construction and hard work, SCI's employees have overcome the difficulties to complete the test items successfully and are ready for energization.
The successful energization of the 110kV substation of the Gelex 3 power plant is an important milestone to put the Gelex wind power plant into operation, helping to supplement the capacity and contribute to the national energy security; at the same time, promoting the economic and social development of Quang Tri Province.
