SCI SUCCESSFULLY ORGANIZED TRAINING COURSE ON BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING (BIM)

From August 23-24, 2025, SCI, in collaboration with the Center for Transport Science and Technology (CTST) - the University of Transport and Communications (UTC), successfully organized a training course on Building Information Modeling (BIM). The course was conducted in a hybrid format, with participants attending in person at SCI's office and online via Zoom.

The training course was attended by 26 participants, including members of the Board of Directors from various member units, as well as the management team and technical staff from both SCI's office and project sites. The course was led by Dr. Nguyen Van Chinh, a BIM expert from the CTST.

On behalf of SCI E&C, Mr. Nguyen Chi Tuyen – Deputy Director, offered a bouquet to express gratitude to the instructor

The program provided practical knowledge on implementing BIM, covering its core principles, legal regulations, specialized terminology, and its application throughout the project lifecycle. The course also clarified the role of BIM for all project stakeholders, giving participants a comprehensive and accurate understanding of how to apply BIM in design, construction, and operation management. The goal was to optimize resources and costs while improving the overall quality of projects.

In addition to theoretical sessions, participants had the opportunity to engage in Q&A discussions and benefit from the expert’s insights and hands-on experience in addressing practical BIM-related challenges. At the conclusion of the training, all participants successfully passed the final assessment and were awarded Certificates of Completion by the CTST.

Mr. Le Ngoc Tuan, an engineer from the Construction Engineering Department, shared his thoughts: "I, along with many of my colleagues, sincerely thank the Board of Directors for providing us with this opportunity to learn and enhance our professional knowledge. I truly hope the company will continue to organize more beneficial training courses like this in the future."

This training program not only equipped SCI staff with additional expertise and skills but also reaffirmed the Company’s commitment to applying digital technology in design, project management, and construction. It serves as a strong foundation for SCI to implement BIM in a systematic manner, aligning with its vision of sustainable development and strengthening competitiveness in the digital transformation era.
