On March 15, 2022, SCI E&C Joint Stock Company (Stock code: SCI) held the 2022 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in the online form. With the high consensus from the shareholders, the General Meeting has been successfully and unanimously approved numerous important contents.
Presenting the report at the meeting, Mr. Phan Thanh Hai - Chairman of the Board of Directors assessed that 2021 is considered a particularly difficult year for the world economy in general as well as Vietnam's economy in particular due to the Covid-19 pandemic. -19 complicated developments. In the context that many businesses in Vietnam find difficult to maintain their business under the pandemic, SCI E&C is one of the Companies which could maintain stable the production and business activities.
At the end of 2021, the charter capital of SCI E&C was VND 254.1 billion, the recorded consolidated revenue of the Company reached VND 6,857.2 billion which was increased to 116%, the consolidated profit including tax reached gained VND 168.4 billion, reaching 134.7% compared to the planned profit. The dividend payment ratio in shares of 2021 obtained 20%.
The year 2021 has marked an important step in the SCI E&C’s development the field of energy in general and renewable energy in particular. Especially, in the field of wind power - one of the strategic business segments that SCI E&C is promoting development with the prominent projects such as Huong Phung 2,3; Huong Linh 7, Huong Linh 8; Gelex 1,2,3. As an EPC contractor for the construction and installation, SCI E&C has brought 07 projects to the finish line, complied with the commitments and the Employer’s satisfaction and expectation. This is an extremely favourable step for SCI E&C in the successful implementing the strategy for the period of 2020 - 2025, with a vision to 2030 and the step-by-step affirmation of the Company's capacity.

Regarding the business plan for 2022, SCI E&C sets a sales target of VND 2,569.9 billion, consolidated profit before tax is VND 50.8 billion.
Mr. Nguyen Chinh Dai - Director of SCI E&C said that the company has formulated the scenarios to cope with the epidemic impacts, consolidated and maintained the stable development of SCI E&C, and accumulated the internal resources to create future growth momentum as soon as the epidemic situation is under control.

To fulfil the set goals, Mr. Nguyen Chinh Dai said, it is needful for SCI E&C to focus on creativity and take advantages of the market opportunities. The Company’s Board of Directors and the Board of Management will perform the key tasks including: Effective management of projects and works, step by step investment in expanding the construction of works and projects in the field of the renewable energy; production of the industrial products and services; Continuing to take the main goals of scale growth, improving the capacity and experience, improving the quality of management of production and business activities of the Company in order to achieve high efficiency in the implementation of economic targets.
At the same time, implementing the marketing and communication strategies to emphasize and impress the Company's brand; Improve the bidding capacity, strengthen the marketing, search for projects, focus on market expansion; Promote the exploitation of information technology applications (4.0) in business activities etc.
