In the bustling atmosphere of the spring days, at SCI Group's construction site during the time closing to the 2022 Lunar New Year, the working hard day and night is still ongoing with the efforts to complete the last works of 2021.
At Nam Sam 3 hydropower project, the spring atmosphere is interspersed with the sound of concrete mixers, the light of welding fire and the lively sounds of talking and laughing. Each group of workers and engineers is highly focused on the job to ensure the project progress which has been set.
With the smooth coordination between SCI Group as EPC Contractor, Investor and partners. Currently, during the last days of the year, the dam construction is being urgently implemented according to the plan to ensure the safety and technical quality.
Together with the RCC construction, the river bed reinforcement, the dam corridor etc. The bottom outlet is one of numerous works being carried out when the construction the dam at Nam Sam 3 hydropower plant is performed. Recently, the bottom outlet located in the dam body, an important position between the diversion culvert and the spillway has been carried out by the employees. The total length of the bottom outlet is 75.50 m, the bottom elevation of the outlet is 510 m, the diameter is 2m. If needed, it is possible to use in combination between the bottom outlet and the chambers of the spillway and the water intakes to lower the reservoir water level to the required level.
