Trade Union of SCI E&C (a member of SCI JSC) have been successfully organized Seventh Congress, term of 2017 - 2022.
South Tu Liem Labor Federation’s Representative said, Union of SCI E&C JSC is a new company, moved to the District Labor Federation from April 2016 but worked very well in high efficiency. Therefore, District Labor Federation chose the unit as one of leading company to join the Enterprise Summit this term.
In last term, the income and employees’ life-care work in Company are always concerned and executed well by Board of Directors and Trade Union. Management of company determines that the average income target for employees is VND 8,200,000 per month and does not allow the occurrence of deffered salary payment, salary debts.
The accommodation places, kitchen of workers, including workers of the subcontractor on the site are always guaranteed. The mode of shift meal, main meal of workers are always cared strictly in quality with the shifting meal value from 15,000 VND to 18,000 VND/person/day, the main meal is from 50,000 VND to 60,000 VND/person/day.
In the meantime, the training and fostering professional qualifications are also very interested. According to SCI E&C Management Board, at Long Phu 1 TPP and Nam Theun 1 HPP, the company has arranged an English training course with the attendance of more than 20 employees which shall be carried out after working time to adapt the working environement with foreign investors and contractors.
These employees are now able to confidently communicate in English with the Employer and Engineer at site. 35 staffs including Board of Management, representatives from all departments, project boards are also trained in PMI management project that is classified as per international standard; 20 staffs were trained in middle management course; 6 staffs were trained in contract management course; 01 staff were trained communication crisis management skills; and in addition, 100% staffs of company were trained with IT skills…

The company's Trade Union Congress was very successfully held that is considered as a festival of workers in the Company. The Congress elected 5 representatives to work in charge as 7th course Executive Committee Congress, term of 2017-2022 and elected directly at the Corgress. According to the outcome of the election, Mr Hoang Cong Tuan shall be the Chairman of Trade Union, Seventh course, term of 2017-2022.
