In order to meet the requirements of the campaign '90 days and nights to complete concreting the main dam to the 536m Elevation, SCI E&C workers have performed 3 consecutive shifts per day on the construction site.
Nam Sam 3 hydropower plant is invested by Phongsubthavy Group in Xam Tai district (Houaphan province, Laos) with a capacity of 156 Mw, total investment of 300 million USD, the construction period is from 2019 to 2023. SCI Joint Stock Company was selected as the EPC General Contractor.
Currently on the site is at the peak of the campaign from April 1 to June 30, 2022 with the goal of accelerating the completion of roller compacted concrete (RCC) to the 536m elevation on the main dam of the hydropower plant before the rainy season.

Although the weather conditions in Laos are very harsh, SCI has concerned on attracting a team of good engineers and workers from Vietnam to participate in the construction.
