On 30th Sep 2023, the inspection of spillway hydraulic model testing of Nam Mo 2 hydropower project was officially conducted in attendance of the associated delegates from the Department of Energy Safety Management (DESM), Nam Mo 2 Hydropower Company Limited (the Employer), LJ Hydro Consultancy (the Employer’s Engineer) and the Consortium of SCI (the EPC Contractor) at the Key Laboratory of River and Coastal Engineering under Vietnam Academy for Water Resources.
The testing of spillway hydraulic model is aimed to verify the engineering computation by SCI PMC to propose the best technically adapted option for the spillway of Nam Mo 2 hydropower project. During the session, the delegates from DESM, the Employer and the Employer’s Engineer positively evaluated SCI’s engineering computation, the closed & synchronous monitoring of testing process and the optimal spillway option engineered by SCI.
